Stephen Shore (born 1961) is a successful writer from the USA. Although he was dismissed by doctors as a child, with much support from his parents, teachers and other people around him Stephen now holds a doctorate and is a professor at Adelphi University where his research focuses on matching best practice to the needs of autistic people. Stephen is also an autism advocate who has worked for numerous autism organizations, like the Autism Society and the Asperger Syndrome and High Functioning Autism Association.
