Tito Mukhopadhyay 2

Tito Mukhopadhyay (born 1989) is a writer and poet from India. He was diagnosed with non-verbal autism in early childhood and was later invited to go to the UK for assessment by autism researcher Richard Mills. At about the same time the BBC broadcasted a documentary called "Tito's Story" and the National Autistic Society published his first book, "Beyond the Silence: My Life, the World and Autism" (2000), a collection of prose, poetry and philosophical texts.
